Rare Wrigglework Tin Teapot With Eagle

This is a rare wrigglework teapot made in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Germans in the first half of the 19th century. The motifs include an eagle, a large sunflower, tulips, floral vines, and the initials "M L" (probably the recipient of the teapot). One of the curled pieces of the tin lid finial is missing, otherwise it is all original and in excellent condition. H: 13" Base Diameter: 7.75"
