This is a rare birch turned stool from the New England states with a late 19th century needlepoint covering. I believe  the stool is from the late eighteenth century. The stool has had extensive use during its life and as a result there is some damage to the legs where they meet the seat frame. I have included some photos and I have additional photos of the other areas of damage. W: 18", D: 18", H: 18.5".
