This finely inlaid pembroke table was made in New York City in the late 18th century. The table is beautifully inlaid with over-lapping husks on the tapered legs and string inlay on the top, drawer, and legs. The top, with oval drop leaves has a molded edge and is constructed from choice grained mahogany. The top rests above a conforming apron with a single long drawer at one end and a matching blind drawer at the other end. The table is in excellent condition and has the original acorn brass drawer pull. The table is 31.5 inches in length, 20.5 inches wide (38.25 with leaves open), and 28.5 inches in height.
